Idiom: Leave No Stone Unturned
Definition: To do everything to gain your target.
Example:
“When I apply for this scholarship, I left no stone unturned to gain my goal.”
” We promise to find your stolen car. We’ll leave no stone unturned“

Idiom: Until The Cows Come Home
Definition:
for a very long time
Example:
§ We could talk about this problem until the cows comehome, but it wouldn’t solve anything.

Idiom: Forty Winks
Definition: A nap, short sleep
Example:
§ I need forty winks before I
start to study for the IELTS test again.

Definition: Slightly unwell.

feet raised and supported.

inition: To be able to understand or accept something.
Example:

Running On Fumes
Definition:
To stay awake although you are extremely tired.
Example:
“I have to be running on
fumes to

conditions.”

Body And Soul Into
Definition: Devote all your physical and mental to something.
Example:
