1. Do you prefer X to Y? (Bạn có thích X hơn Y không?)

EX: Do you prefer to travel by bike or by car?

Ans : (STEP 1: STATE WHICH ONE YOU PREFER ) I prefer cycling to travelling by car. (STEP 2: COMPARE 2 THINGS ) Cycling is so much more convenient than taking the bus if you’re not travelling too far (STEP 3: GIVE REASONS) actually, it’s often faster to go by bike because you do not get stuck in traffic jams in rush hours. Cycling is also better for my health than all other means of transport, including car.

2. How often do you do X? (Bạn thường xuyên làm việc X với tuần suất như thế nào?)

EX: How often do you read books?

Ans: (STEP 1: SAY FREQUENTLY YOU DO THIS ACTIVITY) I am always reading books. I am a completely bookworm! (what books?)I usually red novels, but sometimes I mix it up slightly and read books about history or nature. (STEP 2: GIVE REASONS) I prefer reading books b/c they are a great way to relax and escape from daily life, help me learn more about the world we live in.

3. What do you dislike about X? (Bạn ghét điều gì ở X?)

EX: What do you dislike about your job?

Ans: (STEP 1: IDENTIFY WHICH ASPECTS OF THE TOPIC YOU DO NOT LIKE) I am not interested in the field I work in, and I don’t like my manager or many of my colleagues very much- (STEP 2: GIVE REASONS) they are all so boring (STEP 3: TALK MORE DETAILS BY TELLING A STORY) In my last job, my boss was overbearing and would not let me do my job. If she did not like the way I was doing something, she’d criticize me. She made me disappointed about her behavior.

4. What do you like most about X? (Bạn thích nhất ở X điều gì?)

EX: What do you like most about your hometown?

Ans: (STEP 1: SAY WHICH ASPECT OF X YOU LIKE MOST) what I particularly like about my hometown is its location. (STEP 2: GIVE REASONS) It is right on the coast, and from most places in the city there are beautiful views of the sea. Although we get the odd typhoon every year because we are by the seaside, we also enjoy light sea breezes during the summer.
