5 từ vựng hay nên dùng trong IELTS writing

Khi viết bài IELTS Writing, chúng ta thường dùng những ngôn ngữ nhẹ, không khẳng định tuyệt đối để thể hiện quan điểm. Vì vậy, WILL, CANNOT, HAVE TO, MUST, ALWAYS đều không nên được sử dụng.

1. Be likely to do something:

Children are likely to spend more time watching television without parental supervision.

2. It is highly likely that + S + V + O.

It is highly likely that over reliance on fossil fuels will lead to an energy crisis in the immediate future. (Vế trước dùng likely thì vế sau có thể dùng will).

3. The chances are that .... (Hơi informal một chút )

The chances are that children will become unemployed without formal education.

4. The possibility is that ....

The possibility is that this post will gain at least 500 likes. )

5. Be prone to something.

Players of dangerous sports are prone to injury, leading to either an end of their career or a life of disability.
