IELTS speaking part 2:
1. What and where you’re studying
- I’m a vocational college 28 student.
- I’m in year 11 of high school. I’ll graduate next year.

 The syllabus: a heavy/ overloaded syllabus; do five subjects at a time and have little spare time; too much time for theories but few chances to put them into practice 44 ; cram for exams 45
 The teachers: strict, impatient, demanding >< helpful, dedicated, erudite, experienced
 The activities: few extracurricular activities 46 , like sports competitions, and too much time for academic learning 47
 The tuition fees: high, work my way through university 48
 The facilities: don’t have a sense of belonging 49 as a consequence of having to study at different campuses; shabby, ill-equipped classrooms >< well-equipped laboratory and library, spacious classrooms with air-conditioning
- Difficult or easy; interesting or boring
 I already know everything being taught at school. It’s just a piece of cake and, therefore, quite tedious 50 . I just need the qualification.
 It’s really challenging and intriguing, providing up-to- date insights.
THE EDUCATION SYSTEM (part 3)
1. Is it effective?
- Sample answer:
I’m really sorry to acknowledge the bitter truth 51 that the Vietnamese education system is rather backward 52 . In fact, it has fallen far behind that of many countries. Reality has proven that a number of Vietnamese students aren’t prepared well, in terms of both expertise and working manners, for a real working environment. Consequently, fresh graduates 53 usually struggle to find a decent job, to fit in if they can, or to get down to business 54 straight away.
